Bed & Biscuit - Small Dogs In My Home

I strive to make your dog’s visit as much fun and as comfortable as possible. He will spend his days in supervised play, cuddling in a lap, gazing out the window or napping on one of the comfy beds. All guests sleep in our bedroom at night.

Your dog becomes a member of our family and is treated with love and respect while you are away.

Items for Your Pet's Suitcase:

Do's & Don'ts

DO bring something with the scent from home (T-Shirt, towel, pillowcase, etc.) for the first stay

DO bring food (please bring a little extra in the event your return home is delayed)

DO bring a collar and/or harness & leash

DO bring a bed if your dog uses one

DO bring medications (include extra doses and syringes)

DO bring bedtime treats

DO suggest anything you think your dog will need

DON’T bring toys unless they are needed for bedtime

DON’T bring food dishes

DON’T bring chew items like rawhide, pig’s ears, Greenies, etc. unless they are a bedtime treat

DON’T bring a crate unless there is something unique about your dog’s crate

DO bring the contents of your dog’s crate

$80 per day for 2 dogs from same family

$120 per day for 3 dogs from same family

(Add $5 per day to the above prices for puppies under one-year and certain medical needs, including injections).

Reservations made for Easter and Christmas weeks require a non-refundable deposit of $75. The deposit will be applied to the balance due at the end of your pet's stay.

Visits to Your Home

Mid-Day Dog Walks - Dogs whose people work all day require a mid-day potty break and exercise. The visit relieves boredom and prevents bad behavior. It aids in housebreaking new puppies once they learn that I will be coming about the same time each day. Playtime and petting is important. I will exercise and play with your dog during every visit. I will refresh their water. Each visit takes as much time as necessary to accomplish these things – usually between 25-35 minutes.

Cats - I will scoop the litter, feed and give fresh water while keeping the litter and food areas clean. I will pet, play with and brush your cat or whatever it is that he enjoys. I will bring in your mail and newspapers, and rotate your lights to give your home the appearance that you are there.

A short note will be left after each visit detailing any pertinent information about my time spent with your pet.
